Wow time is flying! It’s already more than two weeks ago since I came home from my vacation to Eilat. I finally managed to go through everything on my camera, so I have a lot of pictures for you today!
My mother and I went to Eilat to do nothing. Yes, just lay down, enjoy the sun and read. Perfect! And thats exactly what we did! We spent the days reading a lot of books and working on a tan and after dinner we walked around town and did some shopping. On one afternoon we did make a jeep safari to explore the dessert. we did want so see a little bit of the country we were visting. Let me show you the pictures.

These pretty bird came to the pool for a drink at the end of the day.
The beach and boulevard right in front of our hotel. During the day you could find us next to one of the pools, but in the afternoon we sometimes moved to the beach because the pool closed pretty early.
There was a separate area on the beach that belonged to our hotel. As soon as that part closed as well we went to get some ice cream and moved to our balcony.
Eilat has an airport in the middle of the city. it;s really strange to see those plains so close to al those buildings.
Even though we came to Eilat to relax, we couldn’t leave without seeing a little bit of our surroundings.
In the middle of the desert. There were parts with small mountains and really flat parts. There was a lot of wind that day!
After driving around for a while we stopped somewhere and our driver made us tea. I don;t know what is was exactly, but it contained thyme and a lot of suger. It was delicious!
