Because of Ascension Day we had a day off this thursday. Even though I had to work on Friday, it felt like a nice and long weekend. Probably because Romano and I spend the whole weekend at my fathers place. Thursday we went to Amsterdam with friends to enjoy the sun with a drink and a bite on a terrace. The was also this festival called ‘Rollende Keukens’ or ‘Kitchens on wheels’. A lot of people selling food. It was crazy buzy, but nice to walk around and meet up with people we know.
Yesterday I spend the afternoon with 2 friends making a high tea. Hearty muffins, cookies, scones, brownies, sandwiches, a kind of pizza, mini cheesecake and more. We ended up eating it for dinner, but it was delicious and a lot of fun.
Today was Mother’s Day so my brother, Romano and I made a nice lunch for our mother and tonight Romano and I had dinner with his mother (and the rest of the family off course). This picture shows the packaging of a Rituals shower foam, one of the gifts for my mother.
