Bobbi Brown is one of those brands I used to look at without buying anything. The products that always caught my eye though, were the shimmer bricks. A while ago I received one as gift from my father and now it’s one of my favorite products!
The packaging of the Shimmer Brick is very simple, but chic and contains 0.4 oz./10.3g. The version I have is called Nectar, but there are 4 or 5 other colors as well (there are limited edition Shimmer Bricks available).
When you open the packaging you’ll find five colors inside. One neutral and, in my case, 4 peachy colors. The idea is that you apply your blush first and than lightly dust your cheekbones with the Shimmer Brick to create a soft glow.
You can decide to sweep your brush through all five shades, which works perfectly for your cheeks. What you can do as well is use it on your lids. I love doing so when I’m in a hurry and want some color on my lids, but don’t have the time for a complete eye look.
If I use the Shimmer Brick for my eyes I use the neutral color (the second swatch) just under my brow bones. For my lid I use all five shades (the third swatch) or the four peachy ones (the first swatch).
